    Hi!

I’m evaluating NoMachine Workstation for Linux ver. 5.1.9_7 which I installed on an Ubuntu 15.10 machine.

Also on a MS Windows 8.1 Pro. 64-bit I have NoMachine Enterprise Client 5.1.9_7 installed.

After I establish a session from the client to the remote desktop on the NoMachine Workstation with the Player in fullscreen mode I see the following issue:

    1. I start a file transfer through !M > Send a file from the client > To this computer
    2. A dialog box opens on the client computer asking user to select a file. At the same time the Player window gets minimized.
    3. After the dialog box is closed, the Player window is not restored to full screen but in a window and it does not accept any keyboard or mouse input from the user any more. Changes of the remote display can be seen in the Player window but the interaction with it is not possible.

The only solution to this issue is to close the Player and reconnect the session to the remote desktop.

The issue occurs with fullscreen sessions to both physical display and virtual desktop (the default Unity graphical shell is used on the server). On the other hand, if the Player runs not fullscreen but in a window then the file transfer does not cause this issue.

In /usr/NX/etc/node.cfg on the server I can see the following option:

    DefaultDesktopCommand "/etc/X11/Xsession 'gnome-session --session=ubuntu'"

I’m attaching the screenshot of the Player input settings.

    Is this a known bug?

    Hi.

I was discussing this issue in another topic, it is documented here:

Cannot interact any longer with the remote desktop after sending or receiving a file

There is something wrong in our graphical framework causing the application to stay modal even if the file browser window has been closed. We’re working on it. You may try to work around the issue by going fullscreen when you connect to the remote desktop, from the session menu, instead of doing it when the client starts.

I can confirm that this issue has been solved with the upgrade of NoMachine Workstation for Linux to ver. 5.1.22_6.
