NoMachine session periodically disappearing?

Hi,

We are using NoMachine Workstation running on Ubuntu 16.04 with Mac clients.  In general, things are working fine; however, our sessions are dying periodically, which is very annoying because we lose all of our saved work.  Periodically, when we go to reconnect to a running session from the client, the reconnection not only fails but the session also dies at the same time.

Here is our server version:

NoMachine Workstation Subscription – Version 5.1.62

Here is our client version:

5.2.11 (for mac).

 

Please let us know what logs you need so we can get this fixed ASAP.

We strongly recommend updating your NoMachine Workstation to 5.2.11.

We haven’t been able to reduce this problem. What Mac version do you use? Is it a virtual desktop or custom rootless session?

Are any core files generated (it should be visible in home directory or in /var/crash on your Ubuntu)? If yes – can you sent gdb output? Please also send logs from server side to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com? Instructions about collecting logs you can find there: https://www.nomachine.com/DT07M00098.
