Hi,
After installing and running NoMachine software the external IP address is not shown/detected (local IP detection works without problems). This happens both on my home and work machine and from what I was able to tell from other posts I should probably send you the specs for routers through which my machines are connecting to the outside world and you’re suppose to send me a debug package? Is that correct?
I’m using Debian 8 (8.7) with GNOME DE.
And here’s the kernel info: Linux debian 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.39-1+deb8u2 (2017-03-07) x86_64 GNU/Linux
(^setup is the same for both my work and home machine)
Now, before we get started I want to use my work machine as the server and connect to it from my home machine. If I remember correctly, IT people from my work have our network set up so that there are two routers between us and the public. If this is the case, is it even possible to use NoMachine in such scenario?
If it’s possible then I would like to keep this thread open until I can gather all the required information for you.
Best regards,
Marko
