Twice I have had the following problem:

If I am connected to the remote machine, and i get disconnected. usually I can just re-connect, but when I could not i have found that the server PORT info has changed.  ( the numbers below are just examples, not the actual IP etc )

ie it was 11.222.333.44:55555  but upon checking the remote server later, ( ie after connection problems ) it was now …:66666

Q: is there a way to prevent the PORT number from changing? I do not know why it had done this, so I need your help / advice

Free versions of NoMachine nxplayer 5.2.21.0 on win10 remote, 5.3.9.0 on win 7 pro server

    Hello ag,

We will need debug NoMachine server logs to investigate further. Please follow the instructions here: https://www.nomachine.com/DT07M00098#1

    Send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com

And then please set the ‘NXUPnPPort’ configuration key in the ‘server.cfg’ file,

this should stop Nomachine Server from choose external port randomly.
