Hi Team
I am doing testing on NoMachine server and client for remote internet access. I have installed ‘nomachine-terminal-server-evaluation_5.3.9_7’ and ‘nomachine-enterprise-desktop-evaluation_5.3.9_7’ on client systems, I am not able to copy paste any text from my NoMachine server to my local system. I am able to download file from server to local client but simple text copy paste doesn’t work.
Both the server and client are Linux, tried from a Windows client also but the same result.
Is there anything I am missing in configuration ? How do I enable this.
December 1, 2017 at 11:14 #16761BritgirlKeymasterWhat’s the distro and version on the Terminal Server host? What Windows version and what Linux distro and version on the clients you’ve connected from?
What about if you connect the other way around? Is it the same?
Btw, if you want, you can just install the free Enterprise Client (or the free NoMachine packages) on the connecting clients.

Thanks for the reply, I am Using Centos 7 on both Server and client, On Windows side I tried using Enterprise Client but even there I am facing the same issue. I have attached the Windows client version for your reference. Let me know in case that’s the wrong one.

December 4, 2017 at 16:10 #16785BritgirlKeymasterOn the fly we aren’t able to reproduce it. Can you confirm the desktop environment, and which applications you are noticing this problem?
The exact steps that you take would also be useful.

We are using KDE Desktop and this is with any application, eg : If I open a simple text or doc file on the NoMachine server and try to copy paste (Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v) the server content on to my local desktop it doesn’t work.
I was trying to get the screen capture but the size is 2MB so won’t get attached here 🙁
December 11, 2017 at 09:31 #16832BritgirlKeymasterWe’ve not been able to reproduce this issue at all, neither on 5.3.9 nor the latest version which is 6.0.66.
First check the /usr/NX/etc/server.cfg file and verify that the clipboard is enabled for both ways:
EnableClipboard both
If that doesn’t work, logs will be required in order to see what the problem is. You can extract them using the instructions here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677
Both client and server side are required.

Thanks a lot, This worked for me. My text copy paste is working now. Is there settings similar for files and folder ?
