Hello everyone. I continue where we left last time. Check this topic for info:
https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/random-mouse-issues-on-nx-client
The mouse problem is still here and since the last update, i have another problem: keyboard randomly starts to write all the letters like the CAPS-LOCK is always on. The only way to stop this is restart the nx server and the problem will gone but it will starts again randomly… Sorry if i didn’t answer before but i didn’t receive anything and my email contact is right indeed, so maybe some problems occurred. Thank you for support

Your Gmail domain is blocking emails from forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. I just tried to send you the test tool again, but to no avail. I have attached it here, please let me know when you’ve downloaded it, so I can remove it.
February 20, 2018 at 08:51 #17578graphixillusionParticipantStrange, I just checked my email preference and i don’t see anything strange. I should have the email in the spam folder but i can’t receive anything. And the email address saved in my profile is correct. By the way I have downloaded the attachment in here. Now what?
February 20, 2018 at 08:51 #17579graphixillusionParticipantSorry. Here the wintest.txt as you explained in the other thread.

February 20, 2018 at 08:51 #17581graphixillusionParticipantI forgot to say: the client i’m using to connect to the server is a laptop and i’m using a touchpad. It can be something connected to this? I’m keep trying to do some wintest but i don’t see anything strange…
February 20, 2018 at 12:41 #17588graywolfParticipantgraphixillusion, I think touchpad does not cause any problem.
Do you mind if I ask you more:
Did you gather the wintest output while the mouse problem was ongoing?
Did you do it on the server through NoMachine?
About the Caps Lock issue, is it just inverted? In other words, if you press Caps Lock once can you type in lowercase (although the light on the keyboard turned on)?February 20, 2018 at 15:16 #17589graphixillusionParticipantNo problem of course:
Yes, i did the wintest while the problem was running and on the server through NoMachine. About the caps lock in my case it was freeze: whatever the caps lock was on or off, the text was typed all in capitals letters only. Sometime something different occur like i start writing something and some letters are normal and some letters are in capital, of course everything randomly. The only solution is disconnect the client and reconnect again.
February 20, 2018 at 15:17 #17590graphixillusionParticipantI did a video while the issue is happening: during the video the cursor will disappear a couple of time. This is because i’m getting the wintest data with the tool you supplied.

In the case it occurs again, could you try to press and release, one by one, left and right Shift and see if something changes?
Could you pay attention to the situation in which such issue occurs (some specific sequence of input actions, for example)? That could help us to reproduce the problem.February 26, 2018 at 08:05 #17644graphixillusionParticipantActually it’s not only like the Shift key is stuck: very often it’s something like the left mouse click is stuck and doesn’t work. One left click on a dir or a file doesn’t work nor double click on them: the only way to unlock this is a fast double click in any white space of the active window. Usually i got this problem when i unpack some compressed files with winrar and/or 7zip —> each archive to different folders. I already tried to press the shift key but nothing happened but i will try again and report it back.
March 8, 2018 at 13:03 #17812graywolfParticipantUnfortunately I’m not able to reproduce the problem. I can create a verbose version of NoMachine libs in order to log detailed data about input events. If you want to try it, it could be helpful. By the way, if I were able to reproduce the problem on my own it’d be much better.
March 9, 2018 at 09:42 #17817graphixillusionParticipantI don’t know if it can helps a little bit more but i share some other info: both server and client run the last version of Windows 10 1709 (16299.251). The server is a Win10 Pro machine while the client runs a Win10 Home version. And, sometimes, i see that the option “Ease of Access mouse settings” is running but i didn’t launch it ( i mean i log in into the server and i see that option enabled but i didn’t launch it before)
March 16, 2018 at 08:34 #17897graphixillusionParticipantI took another video about another issue which happens from time to time. As you can see, when i enable the caps-lock key on the keyboard it starts randomly to put letters switching from capital letters to normal ones expecially if i keep pressed the key.

March 27, 2018 at 12:58 #18052graywolfParticipantI’m going to send to you a couple of debug libraries you should place in C:\Program Files (x86)\NoMachine\bin, replacing the originals. Be aware they produce a lot of output in the log files.
When you reproduce the issue, please create a zip archive of the folder C:\ProgramData\NoMachine\var\log and send it by email.
March 28, 2018 at 08:11 #18058graphixillusionParticipantOk.
