Authentication failed, please try again

Connecting from a laptop with Windows 8.1 to a pc with Windows 7 x64 Ultimate ( fresh install ).

It used to work just fine.

It appears the connection problem does not lie within closed ports or malconfigured routers.

This is what I get from the log.

23:37:34:447.041 NXSERVER-4.0.369[2096] ERROR: Error while trying to authenticate user:Thom. NXNssUserManager::auth returned 1
23:37:34:447.160 NXSERVER-4.0.369[2096] ERROR: wrong ‘nxexec authentication’ for user ‘Thom’ from ‘192.168.123.183’.

Hi, we will need:

1. Compressed var/log directory from server’s side (on Windows standard path should be C:\ProgramData\NoMachine\var\log
2. Confirmation of whether you have a password set (if it’s not a password-less account)
3. Did you reboot of the server machine after installing NoMachine.
4. Are there other user accounts on the server machine – can you successfully log in on them via NoMachine?
