I’m having the exact problem, situation, just new pc, and laptop, I have new PC in same LAN than my laptop so i disable gateway:

Like these, with GUI or use the GUI to edit the service preference and disable the “Gateway port” (see screenshots).

And I don’t change anything else i just go to my client and try to connect, like its in the same LAN, it just appears and I can see in NoMachine interface, I click, I put user and I get the error. I delete cache folder and try again, didn’t work.

I have to delete just cache folder just in the client side right? If yes that solution didn’t work for me

That TR is an issue affecting NX 3.5.0. NX 3.5.0 is a legacy version, no longer supported. The forums are dedicated to the most recent version.

Which NoMachine version is installed on both sides? Can you check nxserver status on the server side – is it running? Is it also Windows on the server side? Did you reboot after installing NoMachine?
