After I installed NoMachine I noticed my PC Network Connection was connecting to the Internet much slower than ever, seemed like my PC was booting up slower as a result. My Network Connection use to be nearly instant on bootup. I uninstalled NoMachine and still having the same issue. Since I have many Internet dependent applications my PC seems to be booting up much slower as a result.
The only thing in the NoMachine installation which can be related with network is nxtun driver. And it’s extremely rare that uninstalling would not remove said driver. However, to make sure, check whether it still appears (open CMD as an administrator and execute command:
driverquery /V | findstr nxtun).If for some reason it is still there – remove it. To do that open Control Panel -> “Device Manager” -> “Network adapters”. Click right mouse button on the NoMachine VPN Adapter and choose “Uninstall device”.
It is interesting that you should say that since after the uninstall it was still there and I had removed it before I posted this. Attached screenshot is what I get now for about 2 minutes when my PC reboots but I am beginning to see it is not just the Network, it is other things. I can’t type anything either during those 2 minutes on boot up or open other programs. So basically, since uninstalling NoMachine after a reboot and after the Desktop appears, I am like at a 2 minute wait before my computer becomes responsive. I also did a System Restore and that did not help.
Please advise, my PC use to boot up instantly since it has SSD and now this two minutes it appears to be frozen on boot up is very annoying.

This doesn’t look like it’s a problem related to NoMachine.
However you can try to check if firewall rules are still on the system (run PowerShell as an administrator
netsh advfirewall firewall show rule name=all | findstr "NoMachine") and delete them (netsh advfirewall firewall del rule name="ENTER_HERE_RULE_NAME").What’s your Windows version by the way?
Windows 7 and that did not work. It seems too ironic, it appears to have happened just after the installation.
Ever since the day I installed then uninstalled this software, my PC has not been the same. The bootup time is like a few minutes and I have SSD. Can you please advise? Before I installed NoMachine I did not have any issues.
I thought I had already provided some input on this, alas I obviously didn’t hit the submit button. As Kroy wrote, NoMachine doesn’t many any changes to Network drivers whatsoever, so it’s very unlikely that NoMachine is the cause. The fact that you tried to restore the OS to an earlier version and it didn’t work is an indication of another underlying issue.
