Hi, I have used NX severs and clients for many years and never had any problems. Thank you! Now I have a problem. I am trying to set up a dual boot system with Windows10/Ubuntu18.04. It is on a fast good laptop Lenovo W530 (64bit) with fast processors and 32Gb RAM and so on. I want to use it as an extra resource both as a Windows machine and Linux when I am doing bioinformatics as I have started doing as old professor. Sometimes these runs are long so I want the computer to stay at home and I want to run it from wherever I am. The computer is set up in a way so I can reboot from one system into the other and thus shift OS and back. I want to do that also remotely using NoMachine and that should work if I set up the server to start working automatically. I have thus installed the NoMachine software both on the Linux system and the Windows system. So if I call the dual boot computer A-Linux and A-Windows and I am trying to connect from a B-Windows (Windows10) computer the following works:
Client->server
A-Linux->B-Windows
A-Windows->B-Windows
B-Windows->A-Linux
But
B-Windows->A-Windows does not work and gives me a “Error is 108: Connection reset by peer”
I have attached the log-file from B when this happens.
I use NM 6.7.6_7 for all connections. The rest of the info about my computers systems is in the text above.
Hope you can help me solve the problem.
Best wishes,
Stefan
