NX service on port: 4000 but not server started

Hi!

I followed the introductions to install NoMachine on a Debian linux system. For this I installed the following package https://www.nomachine.com/de/download/download&id=2

On my Debian system I have xfce4 installed, so I already could connect via FreeRPD or Windows Remote Desktop.

After installation I tried to connect but it says the port 4000 is not reachable. If I have a look at this via sudo netstat -tulpn | grep LISTEN I see there is no port 4000 in use.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Hello,

you are installing 32bit packages on 64bit OS.

Please remove current installation using following document: https://www.nomachine.com/DT09K00056#4.2.

After uninstall, please install this package https://www.nomachine.com/de/download/download&id=6.
