I’m encountering the same problem, I think. I suspect it may be an issue which arises if the server is running Windows x64. I have successfully set up NoMachine on two other PCs, but both of them are running 32-bit versions. I can’t connect to the x64 PC.

The /var/log folder on Windows is:

%PROGRAMDATA%\NoMachine\var\log on Windows Vista, 7 and 8.

the fact that you are experiencing a connection problem on your Windows x64 and not on the Windows 32-bit machines is not necessarily related to the computer architecture (Windows packages are suitable for both 32bit and 64bit).

Can you please send server side logs to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com? You can refer to previous post for instructions.

I wrote to that address, with that subject line, on November 6. Here’s what I wrote:

The log files resulted in a rather large .zip file, so I put it in my Dropbox instead of mailing it to you. You can download it with this link:

However, since then, I have uninstalled NoMachine and am again using Windows RDC. Sorry, but RDC works on all of my PCs whereas NoMachine doesn’t.
