File transfer problem

Client: Windows 10 Home

NoMachine free – 6.12.3.0  (9/25/2020)

Server: Windows 10 Home

NoMachine free – 6.12.3.0  (10/1/2020)

 

Connected via VPN

 

File transfer:

Upload from server to client

1. connect to server

2. open !M monitor on server

3. select  – Download a file from the server

4. Select a file > “Open”

5. No popup appears to select the destination folder.

5a. Looking at !M monitor on client, “No active transfers”.

 

Download from client to server

1. connected to server

2. open !M monitor on server

3. select – send a file from the client >> to this PC

4. window opens to select a file on the client to send to the server

4a. select a file, “Open”

5. NoMachine – Select file destination

5a. select file destination, filename, “Save”

6. open !M monitor on server … “No active transfers”

7. search for the file in the destination directory (the desktop), no such file.

 

Any advice? … thanks.
