No connection with NordVPN

Hello,

I am using NordVPN (nordlynx protocol) on every PC with Linux. (Ubuntu, KUbuntu, Kali, Parrot – all the same problem)

With NoMachine there is no way to get a connection to other computers of my friends and family outside of my network. If I start the server, to check the function of NoMachine, while NordVPN is activated the IP-Adresses are only local addresses.

Even adding port 4000 to the whitelist does not change anything. Anybody here with an idea how I can help friends and family without showing my IP-Address? How is it possible with NordVPN or if not, with TOR? With anaonsurf and/ or Proxy configuration of the player no connection possible. Only without all these protection systems a connection is possible.

The server-PCs I would like to connect with, all have an external NoMachine IP.

I’m not sure that the problem is with NoMachine, but with NordVPN which won’t let you change ports or do any port-forwarding?
