    I have installed NoMachine_7.4.1_1_amd64.deb on a Ubuntu PC version No 20.04 which I am accessing from a Windows 10 laptop.
    The problem I have is when I connect to the Ubuntu PC from the Windows 10 laptop I am seeing a different screen to what I see when I am at the Ubuntu PC. Any idea as to what I’m doing wrong.

    Hi Peter,

    Can you let us know more about what you mean by a “different screen”? Is it the screen size that looks different?
    Is it possible to send us a screenshot showing the screen behavior?

    It would be great if you could also send server-side logs (Ubuntu PC). Please see the following article for guidance: Collect server and client logs manually. You can send the logs and screenshot directly to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of the topic in the subject of your email? Thanks!

    Hi,
    This is an image of what’s on the Ubuntu PC and this is what I am seeing when I log on using the Windows PC. The terminal & file windows have been opened by me.
    The log file are locked with a X and I am unable to download them. This may be due to my lack of experience as I am a Windows person.

    Hi Peter,

    thank you for the screenshots. However, we need logs to investigate the problem further.

    Could you try to enable debug logs, restart, reproduce the problem and send us the logs? Please take a look at this article with the instructions: https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/DT11R00181#1.1

    After reproducing the problem, we kindly ask you to execute in both terminals the command:  env | grep DISPLAY and send us a screenshot with the results.
