There is a remote connection between PC’S on the same internet, but no connection between office and home PC’S with different locations and different routers, miles apart. Linux Mint Mate 20.04 & Windows 10 Pro. NoMachine free version 7.6.2.

The article I linked before describes what’s needed. If it’s impossible for you to enable port-forwarding on your router (please follow the instructions of the router’s manufacturer to do that), the better option is to wait for NoMachine Network.

Once it is released it will remove the need to know the IP address of the remote computer you want to access as well remove the need for port-forwarding.
