    Hi

I have been loving using NoMachine to access my  M1 Macbook.

I am running the server on M1 Mac, and the player on a Windows PC.

The only annoyance I cant seem to fix is the ability to switch modifier keys, I cannot seem to use Ctrl on Windows to send Cmd in Mac.

Is there a workaround to achieve this?

    Thank you

At the moment no, but we have plans to implement a way to be able to configure how the modifier keys are mapped.

Provide an interface enabling user to configure modifier keys

This feature is under heavy development right now.

Do you refer in particular to copy&paste operations? Are there other shortcuts you’re not comfortable with as Windows user connected to a Mac desktop?
Like Britgirl said we’re working on the feature, but any additional information you could give can be useful.

    Hi

Mostly Copy Paste as those are the primary ones in muscle memory, Caps Lock is another one where I use it spotlight and Powertoys run in Windows. I think my issue it that, if the modifier key is changed in macOS, NoMachine still forwards the WinKey and Ctrl as Command and Ctrl.

Other shortcuts – I mostly can create shortcuts on either OS to accommodate with the help of modifier keys.

    Looking forward to the feature.
