I have a new install of Win 10 Pro, it all upto date and was running perfectly on the bench where I set it up, I shut it down and moved it and set it back up and now the my Start menu has shrunk and impossible to use, the start menu window that opens is the normal size, the Power and settings menu on the left are all the normal size, the program icon that are situated on the right hand side of the start menu window all all normal size, but the list of programs that make up the start menu and you can scroll up and down through has shrunk to a very small size that I can not even read, How can I reset the start menu so it appears normal size.

I am connecting from a Lenovo laptop running Mint Linux (20.03), as I said it was working perfectly. It does not seem to be an install issue as if I simply use RDP from the Laptop to the Win10 PC, the start menu is OK

Try disabling the ‘Use acceleration for display processing’ option in the Server settings -> Performance panel on the Windows machine.

That made no difference unfortunately, it is strange simply because the only thing different to when I setup the Window PC and NoMachine was working perfectly is the location of the PC, it is on the same network, accessed by the same Linux laptop, the only difference is that rather than sitting 4 feet behind me it is now sat 4 feet to the side of me.

If your Windows is headless or you have the lid closed, please check the tips here: https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/AR05S01124.
