    Hello,

Minimization of the fullscreen NoMachine window (the one with a remote connection) doesn’t work. (Probably after the macOS update to the latest version).

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. macOS Monterey 12.6
    2. Connect to the remote machine (ubuntu in my case)
    3. Make the client window fullscreen.
    4. Press the hotkey to minimize the window (Ctrl+Alt+- in my case, I changed to the custom shortcut).
Expected result: The client window is minimized.
Actual result: The client window is still visible. macOS Dock panel is displayed. (see screenshot)
    5. Click in the NoMachine client window or on the NoMachine icon on the Dock panel.
Expected result: The client window became active and refreshes according to performed actions.
Actual result: the client screen is not refreshed, no matter what actions are performed.

    Extra details:

    – NoMachine product and version on local and remote machine (free version, Workstation, etc):
Local machine version: Version 8.1.2 (8.1.2)
Remote: NoMachine Enterprise Desktop 8.1.2. Platform Linux

    – Whether the problem arises connecting to a physical or a virtual display.
    Physical

    – Remote and local Windows/Mac/Linux version (Windows XP/7/8, OS X 10.x, Ubuntu xyz, Mint x.y, etc.).
    Local: macOS Monterey. Version 12.6
    Remote: Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS

    – If on Linux, desktop version (GNOME. KDE, whatever) on client and on server.
    GNOME: 3.28.2

Hi Serhii, thank you for the detailed info. We’re still trying hard to reproduce your issue, with no success so far.
While we keep trying, do you mind answering the following questions?

    1. How are you starting the connection to Linux, by clicking the item in the connections list or by double clicking a NXS file?
    2. Do you have multiple monitors on the client? In such a case what is the monitors layout?
    3. Is your Mac a x86 or ARM/Silicon? MacBook or desktop Mac?

Clicking the item in the connections list.

    2. Do you have multiple monitors on the client? In such a case what is the monitors layout?
I have a single monitor on the client.

    3. Is your Mac a x86 or ARM/Silicon? MacBook or desktop Mac?

I can try to record and send you video, of the issue or we can have a zoom call if you won’t be able to reproduce.

Thank you for the valuable info. We reproduced it on one of our testing machines and we’re debugging it right now. I’ll keep you informed.

I am also seeing this, and would be interested in a fix.

Hi, sorry for the delay in giving you some feedback. Unfortunately there is no temporary workaround. In the meantime, we have opened a Trouble Report for this issue so that you can track its fix. This topic will now be closed.
