Location of licence extraction

I have a new licence so I uploaded the archive to the server and extracted to /tmp

I have used

sudo /etc/NX/nxserver  –subscriptionset /tmp/server-01.lic

and it installed the licence successfully.

But is the ephemeral nature of /tmp a problem, that is when the server reboots the licence file won’t exist?

Answering my question: it survived a reboot, so the licence file extraction location can be /tmp

Hi, the extraction location is not important, as --subscriptionset installs the license in our etc folder 😉
