How to pan after zooming on Android client

I have a pretty basic question:
How to pan the client’s viewport around in the server’s (much higher-res) desktop after zooming in?

I can do two-finger zoom to enlarge the desktop, but then I can only look at whatever happens to be in the center of the desktop — is there really no way to pan after zooming?

After zooming, you can pan with 3 fingers.
