Hello! I am using NoMachine version 8.14.2 on my MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.1 to connect to my Windows 10 Pro computer using a VPN. Both computers have NoMachine version 8.14.2 installed. The connection was working fine for weeks but now I keep getting this error:

The remote host ‘x’ refused to establish a network connection on port ‘4000’. Please verify that NoMachine is correctly installed and listening on the port where you are trying to connect, and that incoming traffic is not being blocked by a firewall or NAT.

I have tried connecting without the VPN, uninstalling and reinstalling NoMachine on both computers, and restarting both computers without success. The host IP address for my Windows computer has not changed.

I have attached a zip folder with the session and setting logs. The Any idea how to resolve this error?

    Hi,

can you verify that the Local Network privacy in macOS is granted for NoMachine? If it is, uncheck and check the permission box again. Does that help?

(please ignore my previous reply, it was an error on my part, hence I have removed it)

    Hello!

Yes the local network privacy is granted for NoMachine on my Mac. I tried unchecking and checking the permission box but I still get the same error in NoMachine

Could something have changed on the Windows machine, server side? The player logs you submitted show the server is not reachable. Please check that everything is still set up as it was when it was working. You can use this guide to make sure that all the steps have been followed https://kb.nomachine.com/AR04S01122.

If that does not help, we will need logs from the Windows server. Enable debug and extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00243. Send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks!
