UDP not used with floating window custom session?

Hello,

I am continuing in the process of building out a solution using NoMachine – my primary interest in it is for its performance over high latency, low throughput, and possibly lossy network connections (particularly because of its use of UDP underneath for transport as part of the NX protocol). I have observed its performance experimentally and have confirmed the desired performance before using virtual desktops.

However, most recently I have observed that UDP does not seem to be used when accessing something via floating window rather than virtual desktop – is this to be expected? or could it be something I am doing wrong?
