EWCS 9.0.188 user forward-connection not working

After upgrading from ESBCS 8.x to EWCS 9.0, I find that per-user forwarding of a connection to a specific node is not working.

I have added my EDS node to EWCS, let’s call it system1, and use “–nodelist –extended” to find it’s .

Then I create a user on EWCS: nxserver –useradd newbie –system –nohome –forward-connection

When the user “newbie” logs into EWCS I then see an error:

The session negotiation failed.

Error: Cannot start tunnel to the remote node from node ”. Target UUID not specified

If I remove the forward-connection from “newbie” user profile, I can log in to EWCS and then double-click on “system1” and the connection is established.

What’s going on here? Help!
