changing settings whitout administrator password

Dear All,

I’ve recently installed NoMachine on Ubuntu 20.04 using the command “sudo dpkg -i nomachine_9.0.188_11_amd64.deb” (I have sudo rights) but the server configuration app keeps asking me the admin password, which I don’t have…

I would like to modify some settings. How can I do this ?

Hi Gia,

It’s a normal behaviour, the admin password that you mention would be your sudo password.

Did you try with your sudo password already? If not, please do and let us know if it worked.
