Remote Ubuntu unresponsive. Can I reboot ?

Hi everyone,

My remote Ubuntu 22.04 is unresponsive to any keyboard or mouse input after visual studio froze. I can still connect and see the display updating (I got top running in a terminal). Any usual ubuntu recovery commands (REISUB etc.) are not working.
Any ideas how I can still restore it ??

I tried sending a reboot command like they describe here https://forum.nomachine.com/topic/command-line-interaction-with-nx but it’s not working.

Any help would be really appreciated since I’m stuck at another place and need access to my computer at home.
