Is there any hidden settings for HDR -> SDR conversion available?

I often need to remote into machines which have HDR enabled from clients which does not have HDR screens, which makes the image in NoMachine client look very washed out. But I can’t find any settings to adjust this in the GUI at least…

(I attached an example image to this post to illustrate the issue)

Hi, can you provide us the following information?

    – NoMachine version and OS version on the client side
    – NoMachine version and OS version on the server side

Server side is Windows 11 (Version 24H2 Build 26100.4652) running Nomachine 8.18.4

For clients I switch between Linux and Windows and experience the issue on both.
Windows Client is Windows 11 (Version 24H2 Build 26100.4652) running Nomachine 8.18.4 (Same as server)
Linux Client is NixOS 25.05 running Nomachine 8.13.1

    Thanks for that.

Just so you are aware, the forums has a general rule that here we can handle problems and questions about the latest version. When we make a major release, users can submit here their reports and feedback about the current production version here, in this case NoMachine 9. All issues about previous versions, so version 8.x, automatically get dealt with by the NoMachine Support Team through the User Area if you have a subscription, or it’s also possible to report your issue by going to the Support page, scrolling down and submitting a “Report an Issue”.

But no need to do now 🙂 that since we’ve queued it up for investigation. It’s likely that it is also reproducible on version 9. If we need any more info from you, we’ll come back to you.
