Cursor disappears after click + distorted viewport

Hi,

I am new to both Ubuntu OS and NoMachine. I have two Ubuntu desktop computers. Computer 1 has Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS + GNOME + NoMachine (9.2.18) and Computer 2 has Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS + GNOME + NoMachine (9.3.7)

They are both on the same local network and using Xorg (echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE outputs x11). I can see both of them when I open NoMachine.

While trying to connect to Computer 1, from Computer 2 a new window opens on Computer 2 that shows Computer 1 as expected. On that window when I move my cursor I can see Computer 1’s cursor also moves (I am cheching Computer 1 in real time from it’s actual monitor.). However, when I make a left click operation, it happens on Computer 1 but I can’t see it on Computer 2. Computer 1 window on Computer 2 just freezes.

I checked the forum before posting this entry but couldn’t find a similar problem.
