Cannot get passed Redhat GUI login

Hi,

I have installed nomachine-workstation-9.7.3-1.x86_64 on RHEL 9.8. I am using Enterprise Client 9.8.2 on macOS to connect. I can connect to the redhat machine using ssh on the client, I enter password and 2fa. This brings up the redhat login GUI, I click on my username and enter password but get the errors –

Account cannot be accessed at this time. Please contact your system administrator.

Sorry, password authentication didn’t work. Please try again.

I see on the server logs:

gkr-pam: unable to locate daemon control file
gkr-pam: stashed password to try later in open session

Appreciate any help.

Resolved, was using physical display instead of virtual.

Hi, there is a trouble report open related specifically to Gnome, here’s the link https://kb.nomachine.com/TR03V11117. There is no other workaround other than login to the physical session first (before creating virtual session on gnome), or use an alternative desktop session (not Gnome).
