Hi:
The subject line sums it up. I’m trying to access a Windows 7 Pro workstation from a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus Tablet running rooted Android 4.3. I can see the client successfully make contact with the host via an AnyConnect or OpenConnect VPN link to the network and the host workstation, but the connection times out after 10-seconds to a minute-or so and disconnects from the host side without ever getting a screen refresh on the client side – the time spinner on the client window just freezes after the link is made. Sometimes I get a timeout pop-up on the client side but it usually just stays frozen and the app must be brute-force-ended.
Using NoMachine 4.4.6 on the Windows 7 Pro Host and NoMachine 4.2.25_5 on the Android 4.3 tablet. The tablet willaccess the Windows Host over the VPN using AnyConnect or OpenConnect and RDP or VNC protocols (iTap, Jump, and PocketCloud Android clients all work fine on the same hardware and over the same VPN).
Any suggestions on changing the NoMachine client or hostd efault settings? I’m using NX protocol and Port 4000 (unsuccessfully, thus far) for the Android <-> Windows 7 attempts. Everything works inside the LAN over cable when using the free NoMachine Windows Client/Host….
The Win 7 Pro workstation is linked to a Windows domain, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem with the NM Android Client making discovery and the initial connection link…
Thank you for any help/comments.
