what is your NoMachine version?
We would need the complete set of logs to investigate further. Please follow the instructions in https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677 (included section “How to gather node logs”) to gather all logs and send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.

unfortunately the archive seems to be corrupted. Can you please send the logs again to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com?
October 23, 2014 at 17:20 #5162fra81ModeratorHi,
from the logs it looks like the only running instance of Xserver is a Xvfb (virtual framebuffer). Can you confirm?
Is that a headless machine and you started Xvfb maybe for the purpose of allowing connections through NoMachine?
Are you sure a desktop environment is actually running inside the Xvfb?

Thanks for your information,
Currently, We have older version of NoMachine which already running in solaris, However we are planning to migrate it to all nomachines to Linux 6.5 with latest NoMachine package.
While installing the package i had many problem like authendication/black screen etc…
I dont want to use the Xvfb ot other tools package, however i need a clear instruction where i can install and test the NoMachine and test it before migrating to Linux box.
Can you please send me the NoMachine installation steps with requeired linux packages.
Thanks Siva
October 28, 2014 at 11:29 #5209BritgirlKeymasterI suggest you take a look at our installation guides. You can find these in the support section of the website: https://www.nomachine.com/all-documents.
Alternatively, you can find them also linked in our Knowledge Base https://www.nomachine.com/search/node/installation%20guide.
I also suggest you download and try the any of packages offering the virtual Linux desktop functionality. They are available in the following section of the website in evaluation. A good starting point is Terminal Server or Workstation:
