Client only shows small part of the server screen

    Morning,

    I have similar problem – only part of screen, and cannot see any apps (which i can see on Mac air). When I use use mouse buttons, it do something on macos (same as buttons on touchpad, so working)

    – but no change on NoMachine client (Windows 11 conn.) – only small part of background..

    (i checked all resolution options on client..)

    Mac have m4.

    Any help?

    Morning,

    I have similar problem – after connecting Windows11 to Mac OS (macbook air m4),

    On client window (Windows11) I can see only menu from current app. (for instance NoMachine), and only part of background.

    When using mouse buttons, they work on mac, but no result on Win11 window, even when I change to other app., menu/top bar –  from NoMachine still persist.

    On Mac – I can see properly working mouse button work.

    I did try with <span style="background-color: #f9f9f9; color: #666666; font-family: Inconsolata, Consolas, Monaco, 'Lucida Console', monospace; font-size: 13px;">DisplayServerExtraOptions "-nosckgrab"</span>

    did not help.

    I did check a few resolutions, and screen size (from full  / full_all screens (4 i have laptop+3xLCD)…  to minimize completely)

     

    I did try reinstalling and it is working now… (it worked during writing post, so I am not deleting it)

    So still no solution find for problem, then reinstalling.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the detailed follow-up. From what you describe, it looks like reinstalling NoMachine on your Windows 11 client solved the issue, since you’re now able to see the full screen correctly.

    Sometimes a reinstall is the quickest way to reset settings or repair a corrupted installation. If the problem returns, please let us know, and we can investigate further (logs would be useful in that case).
