Clipboard between Mac and Ubuntu rarely works

Copy/Pasting from client to host machine rarely works. It doesn’t seem to differ using keyboard shortcut or the mouse context menu.
Repeating copying often (10+ times) seem to improve it a little bit.
I’m trying to copy normal text.

I’ve found other posts, but they were solved using settings (EnableClipboard both) which is already correct in my setup. Other posts are solved using a newer version (I’m using latest for both client and server).

My client is running in Mac, my host (remote machine) is Ubuntu 20.04 (18.04 before that had the same issues).

Please refer to the article: https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/AR10Q01058. If you want to start nxplayer with option –activegrab by default quit nxplayer, edit file $HOME/.nx/config/player.cfg and enable active grab key:

  <option key="Enable active keyboard grabbing" value="true" />

Thanks a lot @kroy, but the suggested solution didn’t work.

I’ve closed nxplayer (even restarted the computer) and added the option to player.cfg but this didn’t change anything.
