I’m using NoMachine to connect from my Windows PC to my Ubuntu PC, but everything is kinda blurry. Is there a way I can fix that? Also, is there a way I can use gdm as my desktop environment in NoMachine, I got it to work with xfce4 but not with gdm. Thank you in advance and sorry for maybe being kinda stupid, I’m new to this.

Hi, can you submit the screenshot to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com?

Also, when you try to connect to GDM as your desktop environment, what is the NoMachine message that you see?

I tried uploading a picture but it failed, Ill try it again.
When I try to access it the screen just stays completely white for some time. I can only acess it when I log into my user using rdp but the rdp interface is different from the normal one.

The GDM issue could be this: https://www.nomachine.com/TR07S10316.

About the blurry screen connecting from Windows (your images may be too large for our upload tool, email is best):

    – Right-click the NoMachine app shortcut on your desktop and select Properties
    – Select the Compatibility tab
    – Click “Change high DPI settings”
    – Check the box “Override high DPI scaling behavior”
    – Select “Application” from the combo under “Scaling performed by”

    Does that help?
