    Hello,

I have been trying to connect my mobile to Debian-based Linux VM from my Windows 10 using the latest version of NoMachine 7.7.4 installed on both client and server.

I get the red exclamation mark after the processing completes.

If, I try to connect my local hard disk, it gets connected.

    Things I have tried already:

    • Restarting of the Client and Server – 3 times
    • Reinstalling the software on both client and server – Twice
    • Disabling the USB settings from the server –> restart of the server –> re-enable the USB setting
    • Running the NoMachine on Client as admin and trying to connect the USB.
    • lsmod command on linux machine, no devices found.
    • Checked approx 10-12 different questions similar to this, but none of them worked.

    Please help.

    Thanks in Advance

    Gary

    Hi,

Have you checked this article https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/AR12J00658 ? Particularly, what is an output of the command from point 1?

    Hi Giorgi,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have attached another screenshot, the file was present during installation, I created a new file from source and gave it a try as well, but that also didn’t work.

I read through a couple of threads in this forum, but nothing worked for me.

Do let me know what should be done further.

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Hi,

I see you have compiled nxusb.ko file. Can you please run the following command and paste the output here?

    insmod /usr/NX/bin/drivers/nxusb.ko

Also, please make sure that in your VM settings, you have enabled a USB Controller (so your virtualization software will support USB devices for the VM).
