Copy-paste adds a null character at the end of a string

Hi,

I am not sure if this is intentional but every time I copy some text on my Windows PC and paste to a Linux server I see there is always a null character, depending on the app, sometimes these are shown sometimes not.

Here is a screenshot from the Chromium’s URL bar, see the null at the end. This was copied on the Windows client and pasted to Linux server.

I am using Win 10 x64 NM 7.0.211, Debian testing Linux NM 7.0.211

This was fixed in the release we published yesterday: please update to version 7.1.3.

Issue is solved in the NoMachine version 7.1.3.

It was Client side issue.

Hi,

I am using 7.1.3-2 client on Arch Linux and I have the NULL character appended on any copy-paste from my Linux box to the NoMachine. Do I need to wait for a more recent client version?

I installed my client NoMachine from this

Mentioned TR was fixed on Windows hosts, Here is the Trouble Report mentioning specific problem on Linux

You can select checkbox “Notify me when the TR is closed.”, if you want to receive notification when this TR is closed.
