    Hello, NoMachine!

    Strange dump files fills /usr/NX/var/db/failed dir (up to 1.5gb).

    All dumps, logs and configs attached to http://ge.tt/5PTwnuF1/v/0

    OS: ALT Linux 6.0 x86_64

    Server: nomachine-enterprise-server-evaluation_4.0.369_2_x86_64.rpm

    Client: nomachine-enterprise-client_4.0.369_1_i686.rpm

     

    I use only Virtual Desktops (XFCE)

    This is different from previous issues with a failed session directory. Files accumulated in db/failed are smaller and are assigned to ‘connection monitor’. The issue is under investigation. Can you send us the ‘var/log’ directory. We have just the ‘var/db’ directory.

    I also noticed that when db/failed takes up space “nxserver –list” takes a long time to show me sessions list

    Thanks, the logs were very useful. There is an issue with reporting sessions from remote nodes: sessions from node where ‘local X server’ is not working are moved to db/failed after a while. This is why the ‘failed’ directory is growing. The issue has already been fixed and will be available in 4.1.
