I bought a dedicated MacInCloud server running macOS Big Sur 11.6 with NoMachine v7.6.2.

I connect it with my Windows 10 NoMachine v7.6.2 and I am unable to connect any USB devices from my local to remote machine. It gives a red exclamation mark next to the icon. (Screenshot attached).

Hi, have you allowed all NoMachine drivers on the macOS side? Some instructions for that can be found here https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/AR01P00962.

    Hello.

I am not getting that option in the General tab. Screenshot attached. I even did reinstall of NoMachine on macOS side and still got no option.

Is there any way to reinstall the drivers?

    Hi,

Can you please run this command in the target machine and print the output here?

    ls /Library/Application\ Support/NoMachine/Extensions/

Hi, I also have been having the same issues as OP regarding the USB forwarding. I put in the command you posted and the output was:

Error Domain=KMErrorDomain Code=71 “Kernel request failed: (libkern/kext) kext (kmod) start/stop routine failed (-603946985)

Kernel request failed: (libkern/kext) kext (kmod) start/stop routine failed (-603946985)

Kernel request failed: (libkern/kext) kext (kmod) start/stop routine failed (-603946985)” UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Kernel request failed: (libkern/kext) kext (kmod) start/stop routine failed (-603946985)

    Kernel request failed: (libkern/kext) kext (kmod) start/stop routine failed (-603946985)}

I also took a look at the path and I noticed I do not have a NoMachine folder in my Application Support folder. I’m assuming that should not be the case?

    Hi,

Yes you are right, the folder:

    /Library/Application Support/NoMachine/Extensions/

for your OS version should contain at least the following files:

    nxusbproxy_11.0.kext<span style=”white-space: pre;”>
    </span>nxusbvic_11.0.kext<span style=”white-space: pre;”>
    </span>nxusbvhci_11.0.kext

Please try re-installing NoMachine’s latest version.
