Failed to connect to Ubuntu NX server

I’m brand new to NX. Trying to run NX server from Ubuntu Linux and connect from NX client running on macOS 10.14. Just installed own both machines, and all seems OK. Clients see one another over the LAN.

Started Mac client and attempted to connect to Linux server. After awhile, received the message:

Could not connect to the server.

Error is 60: Operation timed out

Logfile pasted below. Please let me know if you would prefer I send a tarball of the whole log directory, or if this will suffice. Also, do you need a log from the linux side?

Nevermind!

My problem was that I was still running TeamViewer on the server. Once I shut that down (and prevented it from restarting on boot), NX seems to work fine on both ends.

We aren’t aware of similar issues when NoMachine and Teamviewer reside on the same machine, but we’re happy to know you can now connect. Let us know if you have any other questions. Keep NoMachining 🙂

I forgot to mention, the NoMachine logs would be useful from both sides if it happens again.
