NoMachine server 6.6.8 on Mac OS 10.14.4 on MacBook Pro
NoMachine client 6.6.8 (I think, I’m don’t know how to locate the version number) on a PC
Problem is the “fn” key gets stuck “on” requiring me to restart the client (see screen shot). I have keyboard grab turned on and mouse grab turned off. I’m not sure what actions are required for this to happen, but it happens fairly routinely as I move the mouse out of the NoMachine window to use other applications on the PC and back again.

we would need some extra info to investigate further:
1. What is the client machine OS?
2. Keyboard type and layout (or anything that is special about it).
3. Can you clarify what does “restart client” mean? Do you have to restart the client machine, or NoMachine Player alone?
4. Is that stuck fn key on the server or client side? Screenshot suggests server, but you seem to imply that it happens on client side.

Keyboard is a WASD Code 104 Key US layout V2B (https://codekeyboards.com/)
Restart client means closing the NoMachine client window on the Windows PC, and then starting the NoMachine client and connecting to the Mac Server again. It doesn’t require a restart of the PC itself.
The fn key is stuck on the server side, but restarting the client (as above) clears the problem on the server, at least for a little bit.
I can also clear the fn key on the Mac server by pressing the fn key on the Mac Laptop keyboard itself, but it immediately becomes stuck again as soon as I press any modifier key on the client (Shift, Ctrl, ALT, OS, CapsLock).
I’ll post again if I can find some repeatable way of getting the fn key stuck. So far it seems sort of random, but it usually happens within just a few minutes of connecting.

We can’t reproduce it in our labs. In order to narrow down the problem we would need to send you a debug version for the server side. Please let us know if you are interested in trying it out. If yes, we will contact you via email.
