I run NX Server version 5.1.26 on Windows 10 64 bit host version 5.1.26 with client on Ubuntu same version.

After updating nvidia driver on the Windows host, H.264 stopped working. It connects, but locks up with a part of the screen green, and falling back to VP8 after a few tries.

    Nvidia driver version: 368.22

    Any known issue?

It seems that Nvidia has broken something in their latest driver update. While we investigate some more, a temporary solution is to set the key EnableHardwareEncoding to 0 in node.cfg (and use VP8), or downgrade your driver if possible. You can also try with H.264 software encoding for the time being, more about this is here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00706.

As soon as we have some more information we’ll post it here.

Can confirm the issue for driver version 367.18. The screens bottom half is green distorted and won’t update.

Downgrading the driver to 364 makes hwaccel work again.

We will be releasing patches in the next update (coming soon) to get round these nvidia problems that were recently introduced in their drivers.
