I’ve been poking around all afternoon and I can’t seem to make sense of how to achieve what I want…

What I want is to use NoMachine Enterprise Cloud to broker VDI sessions to VM’s hosted on a hypervisor. I will be using Foreman/Puppet to provision and manage the VM’s and XenServer to host the VM’s.

The drawings on the main site, seem to indicate this is possible, but I don’t seem to see an easy way to do this… Are there any how-to’s that explain how this can be achieved? What I do not want to do is have many users consuming virtual desktops on the same VM or physical machine.

I currently have Enterprise Client installed on my laptop. I have Enterprise Cloud Server installed on a Centos 6 VM. I want to use that as a broker/gateway for users to authenticate and be assigned sessions to Ubuntu VM’s.

Please let me know if what I’m trying to do can be done with NoMachine. I’d really like to avoid VMWare and XenDesktop doesn’t support Ubuntu guests.

    Thanks,
    Denver

We are currently working on document explaining how to integrate NoMachine with leading virtualization provides.

In the meanwhile you can set up a multi node environment with server on your host or in dedicated VM and nodes on VMs where you are planning to run user sessions. To bind users to selected VM use profiles – https://www.nomachine.com/DT09K00058#3 or as a alternative session redirection – https://www.nomachine.com/DT09K00058#16.
