Luxembourg, September 5th, 2022 – This is a message for all users using the current version of the NoMachine Mobile Player.
Apple is going to launch its new iPhone model this week and, according to the rumors, will also make available the new iOS 16. We would like to inform our users that according to our tests made on the beta version, NoMachine Player Mobile will be subject to a number of issues and will be basically no longer usable on iOS 16.
A new version of Player Mobile, with updated support for the newest iOS SDKs and with important changes to underlying components was already planned as part of new major branch, version 8. However this has required more time than initially expected, also because of the other big changes. Version 8 is about to be released shortly, possibly in a few weeks and the new version will also come with an updated Mobile, shortly after the initial release, as part of the early maintenances.
We want to inform our users that if they need and plan to use NoMachine on their iPhone devices, we suggest to postpone the update to iOS 16 until the new NoMachine Mobile version is out.
