Hello,
I downloaded the latest installer version (NoMachine_7.6.2_4.exe) and it does not work.
I am on Windows XP 64 and your website (and forum answers) say it is compatible with it.
He does not give an error, it does not even appear in the process list of the task manager when I flood the double-click on the .exe .
The installer run on a Windows 7 x64 installed on a low-budget notebook who can not run directx 10.
Here is my configuration:

July 7, 2021 at 08:43 #34361BritgirlKeymasterHi, we are aware of some issues when installing on 64-bit systems running XP and they could be related to SP2. 32-bit systems don’t have similar issues when installing NoMachine.
We do still support Windows XP although I can’t say how long this OS will continue to be supported for, and it would be better to have SP3 installed (I am not sure if you are able to find this now since MS stopped supporting it). This was the last major update made available at the time by MS.
July 7, 2021 at 11:55 #34364VassiliParticipantWindows XP 64 bits it not a copy-paste of XP 32, it have a 2003 core and never had an SP3.
So the issue is not related to an SP2 for the 32 bits classic version.
Can someone confirm than NoMachine run on his Xp64?
It is my main OS and i use it for display several other computers/OSes with [removed] or [removed].
July 7, 2021 at 12:10 #34367BritgirlKeymasterSorry, you’re right, I was getting mixed up with the 32-bit version. I’m waiting for feedback from our testers 🙂
September 2, 2021 at 10:54 #35076BritgirlKeymasterThere is now a Trouble Report documenting this issue.
NoMachine does not work correctly after installing on Windows XP 64 bit
https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/TR07S10323It will be released in the next software update.
September 2, 2021 at 21:40 #35085VassiliParticipantMy problem is different as the installer does not run at all, but maybe that will help.
Thank you for the feedback, i am impatient to see the next update.
September 3, 2021 at 09:42 #35097BritgirlKeymasterWe’ve tried installing NoMachine on a variety of Windows XP hosts and can’t reproduce the issue you are encountering.
I would download again from our website and reinstall from scratch (you must remove all traces of the earlier installation from your computer) and make note of the MD5 signature of the package. Then, using an external tool such as http://www.fourmilab.ch/md5/, you could check whether the MD5 signature is being corrupted in someway.
