Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 ke

Hi,

Using Ubuntu 12.04 on the server side and sles11 on the client. Both with NX 4. Desktop version is gnome. I am trying to connect to a physical display.

I recently installed the evaluation license of the terminal server on my laptop.

The connection seams to work but it is closed immediately with the error 71. Attached is the log -> session file.

You mentioned you are trying to connect to a physical desktop. The logs show that you are reconnecting a custom session.
So first of all, if you want to be sure you connect to the physical desktop, you should create a new connection (you can use the wizard to do this).

As for the reason why the custom session is failing, please give us the output of the following commands executed in a terminal:

1. echo $DISPLAY
2. echo $XAUTHORITY
3. ls -l $HOME/.Xauthority
4. LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/NX/lib /usr/NX/bin/nxauth -f $XAUTHORITY list $DISPLAY

OK, I will try using the wizard to create a new connection.

1. echo $DISPLAY –>  :0

2. echo $XAUTHORITY –> /home/fdelpin/.Xauthority

3. ls -l  $HOME/.Xauthority –> ls: cannot access  /home/fdelpin/.Xauthority: No such file or directory

4. LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/NX/lib /usr/NX/bin/nxauth -f $XAUTHORITY list $DISPLAY –> lautaro/unix:0  MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1  a79c464f89a67d121ea57f310b5dc83a
