Key based authentication not working

Hi there,

I’m trying to implement NoMachine key based authentication following this instructions  but it’s not working. When connecting it will show only user/password option.

I selected “Use key-based authentication with key you provide” and selected my secret key.

Any ideas?

Hi, the image you tried to link to is not available, so the URL has been removed. Please attach the image here that you would like to show us. Also confirm the NoMachine version on client and server sides and the OS as well. If Linux, the distro and desktop environment is also useful.

Sorry, here is the specifications:

Server:

Platform: Windows 10

NoMachine version: 8.8.1

 

Client:

Platform: Windows 11

NoMachine version :8.8.1

The screenshot is the expected dialog, so you followed the instructions correctly 🙂 It is using a key, and the client is asking for the passphrase of that private key. Is this not what you wanted?
