Hi, I just buy a latte panda streaming cable to connect my 2 Windows 10 computers (w10 home and w10 pro), I want to use my desktop computer (W10 Pro) on my laptop (W10 home).

I install NoMachine free on booth, I manage to connect them (after copying posix.dll in bin…) but I got the error “no available sessions on this server”. When looking into nxserver.log on booth computers, I see the following error:

2020-11-27 22:52:53 036.644 12972 NXNODE   ERROR! The license is not suitable for this server version. Please contact the
2020-11-27 22:52:53 036.644 12972 NXNODE   ERROR! NoMachine Sales Team to get a suitable license.
2020-11-27 22:52:53 036.644 12972 NXNODE   ERROR! The NoMachine node cannnot perform the requested operation.

Hi, I would do a complete reinstall of the software on the remote computer you are connecting to. Did you install the latest version from our website. Could it be that you previously had a different edition installed? Also, you should not have to perform any action related to posix.dll in bin unless you are following specific operations related to installing on Latte Panda (in that case you should contact their forums). AFAIK NoMachine installs out-of-the-box on that device.

Thanks, in fact the problem was related to the network I use, I try to connect using the computer name and it try to connect using the wrong adapter, to made it work I need to use the IP of the RNDIS.
