NoMachine has been working well since I updated to Fedora 36 in May; from yesterday, however, I can no longer connect from Fedora to Windows.
Windows (server) details: 64-bit W10 v 1909 ; i5-10310U @ 1.76GHz 2.21 GHz / 16 GB RAM / NoMachine 7.10.2
Linux (client) details: 64-bit FC36 (fully updated) ; Ryzen 1950x @ 3.4GHz / 128 GB DDR RAM / X11 / Gnome / NoMachine 7.10.1
Both are using the free version of NoMachine.
Logs are attached. The Windows errors are summarized below; I could not find any in the Linux logs.
Thanks!
Fred

July 26, 2022 at 11:44 #39447BritgirlKeymasterHi, the logs you attached don’t seem to be complete and don’t show that a Windows installation even took place. Can you reinstall NoMachine for Windows from scratch, reboot and try again? If you still cannot connect, we need complete server side logs as per instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT11R00182.
You can send them directly to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.

Let me know what you find … I’m pretty sure I did it right this time.

If you’ve done that, then you need to enable debug (
nxserver --debug enable
) and resubmit the logs from the server side again. Please make sure you follow the instructions as per the document https://kb.nomachine.com/DT11R00182 making sure you enable first, reproduce the issue and then extract the logs. Please also submit the client side logs (by selecting Don’t delete log files on exit in the Player). -
