    HI

    I installed the free version of NoMachine. I tried linking win11 and win10 machines and all I get is a white screen. I have to wait 5-10 minutes for for the proper screen to appear. This happens when I verify using system user and guest. I would like to know if this is normal?  Thanks

    Hi, definitely not. Can you send us the logs from both sides? Follow the instructions here to enable debug on the server side (the Win computer you are connecting to). There are instructions also for the Win computer you are connecting from.

    The server and client logs have been uploaded.

    Srrver is Win 11 Pro

    client is Win 10 Home

    We tried switching the server with the client, connection log is as below.

    It took even longer to connect to each other and to see the server screen.

    Please disable HW encoding on the server side. Go to Server settings > Performance > make sure the box “Use hardware encoding” is not ticked. Does that help?

    Hello

    I set “Use hardware encoding” is not ticked as you said, but it still took about 6 minutes to see the SERVER screen.

    Did you restart the NoMachine server as printed in the message? Go to settings > server > restart the server. Then connect again.
