Mouse and keyboard don’t work Windows 10

I am a new NoMachine user using  Free Version 6.9.2 and Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 Build 18363.657 on both client and server.

With NoMachine both keyboard and mouse input at client don’t work on server, both with initial lock screen and with desktop on server with a virtual display.

A possibly useful datapoint is the fact that another program (vnc derivative) works perfectly in providing remote access between these two machines with full mouse and keyboard function.

I attached compressed .nx directory.

We are not aware of any issues with mouse and keyboard when using NoMachine in Windows. Can you send us the logs from the server?

The logs show that you have ticked the following checkbox in the Security preferences of the server.

‘Require permission to let the remote users interact with the desktop’

This means that mouse and keyboard won’t work because you will connect in view only until the owner gives their explicit permission for you to interact. See here: https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00154#3.2.

Remove the tick from that box and try again.
